Course Description

  Science

        Science and technology are covered through each of the science topics and units through hands-on activities and research. This way the students begin to make connections within the curriculum and understand the relationships that exist in our world. Our overall goal is that the students' imagination, creativity and curiosity about science  will ignite and transform them into lifelong learners.

Social Studies

     We begin by studying the earliest American civilizations.  We discuss early explorers and the beginning of our country.  We learn about how our nation was formed, and  how the branches of our government work.  Map skills are an important part of our curriculum.
