Course Description

Speech Therapy is a service that is provided to students who may have some difficulty in certain areas of communication.  These areas include articulation, language comprehension, voice quality and fluency.  Students are referred to speech therapy by a teacher or parent.  After a referral is processed the speech therapist will assess the student to see if he/she meets eligibility criteria.  An Admission, Review and Dismissal committee meeting is then held to review test results and discuss placement options.
